Camera inaccessible/camera not detected/hardware issue

Dear Candidate,

 

Please ensure no other application on your system is using the camera in the background, kindly close all tabs including the Talview site and turn off your camera before launching the SB. Please ensure you disable applications like Skype, Zoom, Snapchat, Microsoft Teams etc, for the duration of the test.

 

Kindly, check that your webcam is working properly at webcamtests.com. If you get a notification that your camera or microphone is inaccessible, please follow the instructions below:   

- Open Chrome.

- At the top right, click More. Settings.

- Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.

- Click Pop-ups and redirects.

- At the top, turn the setting to Allowed.

Please note that if the camera or microphone is still inaccessible after following the instructions above, this is a hardware issue and you are advised  to change the device. Also, you were only asked to download the SB via the link on your invite.

      Kindly be informed your test will be recorded once you start the test and you will be prompted to submit the video after ending your assessment on the test date.
